Production History

Heathers: The Musical

By Laurence O’Keefe & Kevin Murphy

About the Show

Westerberg High is ruled by a shoulder-padded, scrunchie-wearing junta: Heather, Heather and Heather, the hottest and cruelest girls in all of Ohio. But misfit Veronica Sawyer rejects their evil regime for a new boyfriend, the dark and sexy stranger J.D., who plans to put the Heathers in their place -- six feet under.

Our Vision

Our team set out to deliver a production that challenged audiences to reflect on how they treat others. High school—or really any social setting—can heighten divides and cruelty. Still, the impact of our choices extends far beyond adolescence. Through Veronica’s journey—from complicity in a toxic system to actively breaking he cycle—we explored how small actions can either deepen or disrupt patterns of harm. By embracing empathy over isolation, our production asked: In a world already full of hardship, why be the ones to make it worse? Through bold storytelling and raw emotion, we invited audiences to consider how they can make life beautiful.

Assassins

About the Show

A hypothetical meeting of U.S. presidential assassins. A darkly satirical musical by Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman, where figures like John Wilkes Booth, Lee Harvey Oswald, and Squeaky Fromme step out of their perceived history to share their stories, bound by their disillusionment with the American Dream. Blending vaudeville, folk, and Broadway styles, the show explores the motives behind their infamous acts, questioning the myths, successes, and failures in American society. Bold, unsettling, and darkly humorous, Assassins forces audiences to confront the darker corners of history and human ambition.

Our Vision

Through the viewpoint that “Anyone has the Vulnerability to become radicalized”, our team Sought to display an American populous that has been pushed into seeking desperate measures. As our cast occupy the theatre; and even the very seats of the audience, our production held a mirror to society; asking the question: what would push you past your breaking point?

Ride the Cyclone

About the Show

After a tragic roller costar accident, A group of Six Teens finally leave their small town of Uranium, Saskatchewan and find themselves in the meeting space between life and death. Now in competition for a second chance to live, the friends learn more about each other than they ever could in life; and even more about themselves then they could in an Eternity.

Our Vision

As we navigate our own version of "the upside down," our characters uncover truths about themselves that life could never have provided. Through their tragic and gruesome deaths, these six teens discover aspects of their identities never attainable in the mortal realm. By sharing their stories, they invite the audience to recognize life as both all-encompassing and fleeting—at once all powerful and insignificant; reminding us that the only thing a human can truly ask for is to “Enjoy the ride”.
